Fifty Shades of Grey
Billy Magnussen ("The East," "Into the Woods") reportedly tested on Friday for the role of Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film adaptation at Universal.

Magnussen is the latest name to join the list of contenders. Jamie Dornan ("The Fall") also reportedly tested on Friday, while François Arnaud ("The Borgias") and Scott Eastwood ("Texas Chainsaw 3D") are still in contention. [Source: Just Jared]

Untitled Cameron Crowe Project
John Krasinski ("The Office," "Big Miracle") is in talks to join Cameron Crowe’s untitled romantic comedy at Sony Pictures. Krasinski will play a military man and new husband to the ex-wife (Rachel McAdams) of Bradley Cooper's character.

Cooper plays a defense contractor who falls for an Air Force pilot (Emma Stone) after he's assigned to oversee the launch of a weapons satellite from Hawaii. [Source: THR]

The Mend
It has been revealed that Josh Lucas ("Sweet Home Alabama") is a part of the cast of John Magary's indie comedy "The Mend". Filming wrapped last week in NYC.

Lucas plays the sour and aging Mat, who crashes his younger brother Alan’s party and insinuates himself into Alan’s apartment and life. [Source: Deadline]

Falling Skies
Mira Sorvino ("Mimic," "Reservation Road") has scored a recurring role on the fourth season of TNT‘s alien invasion drama "Falling Skies".

Sorvino will play Sara, a former graphic designer now dogging death at every turn. A chance encounter with guerrilla fighter John Pope (Colin Cunningham) leads her to join the resistance and develop a strong personal bond with him. [Source: Deadline]
