Tim Burton is rumored to be helming a sequel to one of his most famous works - the supernatural comedy "Beetlejuice".
Said sequel has been stuck in development for well over a decade, but got new life a few years ago when Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg came onboard to pen the script.
It seems like that script is now finished, and a report on The Schmoes Know podcast indicates that Burton was considering dropping out of his next project - "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" - to do "Beetlejuice 2".
Instead, Burton has apparently been able to rearrange his schedule and now plans to do both movies. The writers themselves have previously stated that it's not a true "Beetlejuice 2" without Burton or star Michael Keaton.
The new film is a direct sequel said to pick up twenty-something years after the events of the original.
