Trade Breaks: Demeter, Rogue, Naked

"Scribe James V. Hart is taking a crack at a draft of "The Last Voyage of the Demeter" for Phoenix Pictures. The film expands on the short section in Bram Stoker's famous Dracula novel in which a merchant vessel shipping cargo from Transylvania to London finds its various crew members disappearing along the way, in actuality Dracula himself is in the cargo and is feeding on the various crew to sustain himself. Hart penned Francis Ford Coppola's "Bram Stoker's Dracula" back in the early 90's..." (full details)

"'The Air Up There' weighs in with a rumour about a remake of Ching Siu-Tung's acclaimed Asian feature film "Naked Weapon" - "Apparently Paula Wagner is leading the charge to acquire, and consequently make, a remake of the popular kung-fu film. The 'talk' is that both Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes may be involved. Now, I assume that Maggie Q is helping the cause here.....ironically, Cruise has cast her in a small part in "Mission Impossible 3""
