Blake Lively ("Savages") and Ellen Burstyn ("Intersteller") have signed on to star in Lee Toland Krieger's fantasy romance feature "The Age of Adaline" at Lakeshore Entertainment, Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, Anonymous Content and Lionsgate.
J. Mills Goodloe and Salvador Paskowitz penned the script which follows a young woman killed and then revived in a freak accident that physiologically locks her into her late twenties.
After decades of living a solitary existence, she finally meets a man who might be worth losing her immortality over so they can grow old together.
The project was previously set up as a vehicle for actress Katherine Heigl and director Andy Tennant. Gabrielle Muccino and Isabel Coixet were also attached at one point. None of them are involved any longer.
Steve Golin, Alix Madigan, Sidney Kimmel, Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi will produce. Filming is set to get underway in March.
