HBO has announced a January 12th premiere date for both the new series "True Detective" starring Matthew McConaughey, and the third season of "Girls". The shows will air at 9pm & 10pm respectively.
They've also set a January 19th, 10:30pm premiere time for "Looking," the new comedy which is being described as "Sex in the City" but with a younger, gay male San Francisco setting. Jonathan Groff, Murray Bartlett, Russell Tovey and Scott Bakula star. [Source: Twitter]
FOX has begun development of the drama series "Atlantis" from feature writers Sheldon Turner ("Up In The Air") and Ken Nolan ("Black Hawk Down").

The CW has ordered a new serialized military drama, currently titled "Boots," from co-creator/executive producer Nick Santora and Gary Fleder ("Breakout Kings").

Every Street United
Microsoft has commissioned "Every Street United," a football-themed series, as the first unscripted series to stream via its Xbox games console from early next year.
Each episode of the 8 x 30-minute series will be shot in a different country and focus on different teams and players ahead of the 2014 World Cup. The final episode will be filmed at the finals in Brazil. [Source: Screen Daily]
