One of TV's most under rated genre dramas, "Teen Wolf," has scored a fourth season renewal from MTV.

The cable network has picked up a further twelve episodes of the supernatural drama which will premiere in the second half of 2014.

The twelve episode second half of the show's third season is currently slated to premiere on January 6th.

Each episode of Season 3.5 will immediately be followed by the new talk show "Wolf Watch" which will sport guest appearances from cast and fans. Jill Wagner will host.

The first half of the third season pulled in 2.8 million viewers and a 2.5 rating in the 12-34 demographic, the show's strongest performance thus far.

A spiritual successor of sorts to Joss Whedon's similarly toned "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," the Jeff Davis-produced series has earned a strong cult following since it premiered in 2011.
