20th Century Fox have delayed its young adult literary adaptation "The Maze Runner" by seven months. Originally slated for a February 14th 2014 release, it now won't be hitting screens until September 19th.
Director Wes Ball tweeted: "These things aren't my choice, but I 100% agree with Dox's decision. Just imagine the cool stuff we can do with a little extra time."
Fox has also shifted its upcoming Geoffrey Rush potential awards contender "The Book Thief". The period drama will now open a week earlier next month - on November 8th.
Finally, the film adaptation of the acclaimed novel "The Fault in our Stars" starring Shailene Woodley has been scheduled for June 6th next year.
