Jere Burns has been upped to a series regular for the fifth season of FX's crime drama "Justified". Burns has recurred throughout the first four seasons as the crooked Wynn Duffy.

Susan Sarandon has scored a guest-starring role on the upcoming fourth season of CBS comedy "Mike and Molly". Sarandon plays J.C. Small, a literary icon and Molly's (Melissa McCarthy) idol.

Leighton Meester ("Gossip Girl") has scored the lead in Frank Whaley's indie drama "Like Sunday, Like Rain". Meester plays a struggling musician who becomes the guardian of a 12-year-old music prodigy (Julian Shatkin) one summer.
Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and "Will and Grace" star Debra Messing are onboard as the boyfriend of Meester’s character and the mother of the boy respectively. Filming is underway in New York. [Source: Deadline]
