BBC America has cancelled its period police drama "Copper" after two seasons. The project was the cable network's first step into original scripted programming.
Starting out strong with 2.754 million total viewers tuning in for the pilot, the drama sustained only modest ratings and will wrap much of its narrative in this weekend's second season finale.
The network's sole scripted commission is the much more buzzed about "Orphan Black" which has already been renewed for a second season to air next April.
