The sequel to last year's "Dredd" hits next week, albeit only in comic book form.
"Dredd: Underbelly" continues events directly from the ending of 2012's "Dredd," with Judges Dredd and Anderson "fighting the tsunami of crime on the mean streets of the dystopian Mega-City One".
2000 AD veteran Arthur Wyatt penned the comic which is part of a renewed push for an actual film sequel. Another part is a "Day of Action" for Dredd fans that will take place on September 18th, the same day the comic comes out.
Organisers say: "We're asking everyone who's signed the petition to come together next Wednesday and drive Dredd back up the charts. If everyone who's signed the petition bought an extra DVD or Blu-ray (either for themselves or as a present for a friend) or rented/bought it on iTunes and Netflix, it will send the loudest signal yet that WE WANT MORE DREDD!"
The official petition for a sequel has already passed 80,000 signatures.
