While numerous heroes will make their first appearance in the second season of The CW's "Arrow," none is more anticipated than Barry Allen, aka The Flash.
It's a big role, partly because whomever is cast in the recurring role will also be the lead of a potential spin-off series. Now, Latino Review reports that the potential casting list has been reduced to three names - James Mackay, Matt Barr and Grant Gustin.
Australian actor James Mackay is best known for a role in the Aussie drama "The Straits" and the upcoming Josh Hartnett-led "Singularity".
Texan-born Matt Barr starred in shows like "Hatfields & McCoys," "Hellcats," "Harper's Island," "Commander in Chief" and has a role in the upcoming "Parkland".
Finally, there's Grant Gustin who is best known for the recurring role of Sebastian Smythe in Fox's "Glee."
The character is slated to appear in the second half of the second season. "Arrow" returns to screens on October 9th.
