Superman Stops For A Break

By Garth Franklin Thursday August 25th 2005 06:43PM

Production on the US feature "Superman Returns", currently shooting in Sydney, will take a five-week production hiatus from September 9th reports Encore Magazine.

According to a spokesperson for the production, industry speculation that the break is to allow director Bryan Singer to return to the US to celebrate his birthday is false. "He's much too professional for that," quipped the spokesperson.

Production on Superman would resume shooting in mid-October. Principal photography is due to be complete September 9 and pick-ups will resume in mid-October. It's believed the shoot will wrap at the end of November.
