Sigourney Weaver, John Turturro and "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul have joined the cast of Ridley Scott's upcoming biblical tale "Exodus" at 20th Century Fox.
Steve Zallian, Adam Cooper and Bill Collage penned the script that follows the story of Moses (Christian Bale) leading the Israelites out of Egypt into the Sinai desert and eventually to their Promised Land.
Joel Edgerton has been cast as the pharoah Ramses. Weaver and Turturro will play Ramses' parents, while Paul (who is still in negotiations) will play Hebrew slave Joshua who goes on to lead the people onto the promised land after Moses.
The film is currently slated to begin filming in September in England, Spain and Morocco. A December 2014 release is planned.
