Showtime has unveiled another specially made teaser trailer, along with several posters for the upcoming third season of its acclaimed drama "Homeland". The clip, set to Adele's cover of The Cure's "Lovesong," focuses entirely on the three key characters of Carrie, Brody and Saul.

ITV2 has opted to renew the Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi as a long-term gay couple sitcom "Vicious" for a second series. The show will first return as a Christmas special.

ITV has also renewed Russell Tovey workplace comedy "The Job Lot," crime drama "Scott and Bailey," and period sitcom "Plebs," with the former being moved to ITV2. [Source: Digital Spy]

Penny Dreadful
Former James Bond actor Timothy Dalton has joined the cast of Showtime's upcoming psychosexual horror series "Penny Dreadful". "Skyfall" writer John Logan and director Sam Mendes are producing.

Dalton will play Sir Malcolm, a hardened African explorer on a deeply personal quest. Eva Green and Josh Hartnett also star in the series which will begin production in October in London. [Source: Showtime]

ABC has unveiled a new promo for the upcoming Joss Whedon-produced "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." series, the first promo to include clips from episodes beyond the pilot.
