J.J. Abrams is dipping back into his mystery box for "Stranger," a mysterious project by his Bad Robot company which was first announced via this online teaser earlier today.
The minute-long black-and-white clip shows a man disappearing into darkness to be replaced by another man with his mouth sewn shut. There's also a voiceover saying:
"He arrived knowing nothing of himself. Who is he? Soon, he will know. Because what begins at the water shall end there. And what ends there shall once more begin. This is what happens when we come lost. Men vanish, men are erased -- and reborn."
Some have speculated that it's for "The Stops Along the Way," a TV miniseries adaptation of one of Rod Serling's final works that Bad Robot is developing. CS says that project follows a man who "travels back and forth through the 20th century to take part in historic events."
