Universal has confirmed that a sequel to Seth MacFarlane's 2012 smash comedy hit "Ted" has been officially scheduled for April 3rd 2015.
MacFarlane himself first let slip the news on his Twitter feed saying that he's aiming for a release on Passover in 2015. The studio has since confirmed it.
"The Family Guy" creator is presently four months into shooting his comedy western "A Million Ways To Die In The West" which will be out May 30th 2014. "Ted 2" would likely begin shooting either very end of this year, or early next.
The news comes as his new live-action comedy series "Dads" is coming under fire for one racial jokes in the pilot. At least one organisation has asked producers to reshoot scenes.
