TNT has renewed three of its highest performing original summer series for a further fifteen episodes each.
"Rizzoli & Isles" is set to return for a fifth season, while "Perception" and "The Closer" spinoff "Major Crimes" will be back for a third season.
The new episodes are scheduled to launch next summer, as is a fourth season of "Falling Skies" which TNT already renewed.
The four shows all rank among basic cable's top ten series with total viewers for the summer-to-date. Many of these are about to go on a brief hiatus with the back half of their current seasons resuming round year's end.
In Live + 7 viewers, 'Rizzoli' averages 8.4 million viewers per episode, "Major Crimes" nabs 6.7 million, "Falling Skies" earns 5.8 million, and "Perception" gets 5.6 million.
