Years before "Idol" and "Making the Band", the first real music-themed reality show was Australia's "Popstars" program whose first series yielded the five-girl band Bardot. Now, former Bardot blond starlet Sophie Monk is currently filming a role in the $75 million comedy "Click" opposite Adam Sandler reports The Daily Telegraph.
"I play David Hasselhoff's secretary and she gets around a bit - it's quite a role. I end up in bed with Adam Sandler, It's so surreal it's hysterical" says Monk. "I'm so excited. This is the biggest thing I have ever done, there's no comparison."
Earlier this year ex-Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins was offered a role in Click, which also stars Kate Beckinsale and Christopher Walken, but had to turn it down because of her full schedule. The bubbly blonde said she auditioned for the part and cracked some jokes and that helped her land the big role. Click is due to finish filming in October and will be released in June next year.
Thanks to 'Dane'.
