Director's Chair: Alien, Aladdin, Nice

"Bill Pullman and Harry Dean Stanton will star in Alien Autopsy, the new feature showcasing the acting talents of British TV presenters Ant and Dec/ The comedy centers on two friends who make a spoof documentary which they claim is footage of a secret autopsy on an extra-terrestrial. The film marks the feature debut of Johnny Campbell, the acclaimed director of hit Channel 4 series Shameless. The script is by Will Davies. "Walt Disney Pictures has bought a pitch of a modern-day Aladdin story from scribe Bill Kelly. Adam Shankman ("The Pacifier") is tentatively slated to direct, pending completion of the script by Kelly. Pic will be live-action with a contemporary setting. Otherwise, the studio is keeping details under wraps.
