WWE Studios is set to produce a sequel to their 2006 horror film "See No Evil" starring wrestler Kane. Lionsgate will once again distribute.
The first film that WWE produced through its film division, the low-budget 'Evil' earned $19 million worldwide. It remained the company's biggest hit until the Halle Berry-led "The Call" earlier this year which nearly tripled Evil's box-office.
Kane will return as reclusive madman Jacob Goodnight. Awakening in the city morgue after his killing spree at an abandoned hotel, this time he goes after a group of medical students.
Nathan Brookes and Bobby Lee Darby are co-writing the script, while Jen and Sylvia Soska ("American Mary") are set to direct. Shooting begins this Fall.
