After Disney acquired Lucasfilm, the question of when Disney's ABC network would get to work on a "Star Wars"-related TV series quickly emerged.
ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee finally spoke about that possibility during the TCA press tour presentation. He says the door is open right now, but things are at very early stages.
"We started conversations with them" he tells Variety, adding that he has "a glint in his eye" with the addition of Lucasfilm.
Lucasfilm is presently preoccupied with work on the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII" for 2015, so a "Star Wars" TV series is still a good a few years off.
