"Sinister" director Scott Derrickson has another project in development, an adaptation of Drew Magary's "The Postmortal" (aka. "The End Specialist").
The author recently revealed via Twitter that Derrickson had picked up the film rights to the work.
The story is set in the near future, a time when a cure for aging is discovered and made available to people worldwide - effectively making them immortal aside from sickness and/or injury.
This new world also has its own problems including government euthanasia programs and disturbing religious cults. The story follows a man who recently decided to take The Cure and must now determine how to live his life.
Derrickson's immediate next project is the demonic cop thriller "Beware The Night".
