FilmDistrict has pushed back the release of Spike Lee's "Oldboy" remake by a further five weeks. No official reason was given regarding the delay.
Originally slated for October 25th, it will now open wide during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend against Disney's "Frozen," "Black Nativity" and "Homefront".
Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Sharlto Copley, Lance Reddick and more star in the story about a man who is kidnapped for mysterious reasons, and is released twenty years later with no explanation. Once free, he goes on a mission to find his captor and take revenge.
