Johnny Depp could soon be retiring.
The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor revealed in a recent BBC interview that he is "not too far away" from quitting acting.
50-year-old Depp says he is considering moving away from movies for good in the not-too-distant future, so he can concentrate on his other passions and prepare himself for old age. Depp says:
"I wouldn't say I am dropping out any second but I would say it's not too far away. At a certain point you start thinking and when you add up the amount of dialogue you say per year and you realise you've said written words more than you've had a chance to say your own words that becomes an insane option for a human being. Are there quieter things I wouldn't mind doing? Yes, I wouldn't mind that."
Despite these comments, Depp has at least five more films due in the near future including "Into the Woods," "Mortdecai," "Transcendence," "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" and "Alice In Wonderland 2".
