No surprise, LucasFilm has officially denied rumors that J.J. Abrams might quit the director's chair for "Star Wars: Episode VII".
The talk swirled in San Diego this past weekend, adding to news from a while back that Abrams was reportedly unsure about relocating his family to the U.K. for the film shoot at Pinewood Studios. Abrams has never primarily shot a film outside of Los Angeles.
A spokesperson says: "There is no truth to the rumour. JJ is having a great time working on the script and is looking forward to going into production next year."
"Star Wars: Episode VII" hits cinemas in 2015.
