New Line Cinema is locking down plans for a sequel to James Wan's thriller "The Conjuring" just days before the film hits cinemas.
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga star in the film as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren who investigate the haunting of a farmhouse.
Writers Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes have been brought back to start work on the sequel script which is said to explore some of the other famous cases the Warrens worked on.
New Line president Toby Emmerich says" "We have Lorraine's permission and support, and we are working on developing another film."
It's unknown if James Wan will return to direct due to his "Fast and Furious 7" commitments. In the meantime, a new featurette for the film has also gone online today:
