It has been a few months since we last heard news on a new take on "Pinocchio" at Warner Bros. Pictures.
At last report, Robert Downey Jr. was attached to play Geppetto in this new live-action take, while Ben Stiller was circling the project as a potential directorial vehicle.
In the months since, further drafts have come in that work with new ideas by Downey and Stiller according to Bleeding Cool.
The site says the plan at the moment is for Downey Jr. to play both Geppetto and Pinocchio in the story.
It also appears as if Pinocchio will be either a voice or performance capture role. Also, Geppetto will be younger in the story so Downey likely won't require any aging makeup.
