Following on from his signing on for "Mortdecai" earlier this week, actor Johnny Depp has also signed a just announced multi-year first look deal at Disney.
The deal, which was actually done earlier this year, allows him to develop film projects he can produce for the studio.
On top of that, Depp is in final discussions to return as The Mad Hatter for Disney's planned sequel to 2010's $1 billion box-office smash "Alice In Wonderland".
James Bobin ("The Muppets") is replacing Tim Burton as director for the second outing. Depp will likely film in the project once he wraps work on "Pirates Of The Caribbean 5" for the studio.
