Showrunner Bryan Fuller has confirmed rumors that he has reached out to David Bowie to see if he's interested and available for the second season of NBC's "Hannibal".
If cast, Bowie would play Hannibal's uncle Count Robert Lecter, a character who briefly appeared in the books. Production on the series resumes in August in Toronto. [Source: E! Online]
Ryan Reynolds will star with Ben Mendelsohn in "Half Nelson" writer/directors Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden's new project "Mississippi Grind". Shooting begins early next year.

Jack O’Connell ("Skins"), John Boyega ("Attack the Block") and Christian Cooke ("Magic City") are expected to test next week for the key supporting role opposite Colin Firth in Matthew Vaughn's comic adaptation "The Secret Service" at 20th Century Fox.
