Fox 2000 has picked up the rights to the upcoming graphic novel "Rochester" and attached "The Devil Wears Prada" scribe Aline Brosh McKenna to pen the adaptation.
The story is described as a contemporary take on the 1847 Charlotte Bronte classic "Jane Eyre". That book of course followed an orphaned girl who becomes an governess at the estate of the wealthy Edward Rochester, an estate seemingly haunted by a secret of the man's past.
McKenna and Simon Kinberg will produce the film.
