Starz & The BBC's new historical drama series "The White Queen" launched on BBC One in the UK on Sunday night. The show pulled in an average 5.33M viewers, winning the night with a 22.8% share.

The ten-episode drama kicks off in the United States on Starz on August 10th.

However, the Starz version contains more nudity than the BBC one - an "additional 30 seconds" spread across two or three occasions according to a spokesperson.

The situation is akin to what happened with some of the racier scenes in the mini-series "Torchwood: Miracle Day".
