Speaking about the opening weekend success of the Superman reboot "Man of Steel," Warner Brothers president of domestic distribution Dan Fellman tells The Wall Street Journal that:
"It's more than just a franchise for us, it really opens up the door to do combinations of the DC Comics characters. We can build them up like Marvel did and benefit from the history of DC."
Those plans may be moving along faster than anyone expected.
The article also states that, according to "knowledgeable people close to the studio," a sequel to "Man on Steel" is expected to be fast tracked and ready for release as soon as 2014.
On top of that, it also says a "Justice League" team-up film could hit as soon as 2015. Sounds… rushed.
