Netflix Inc. and DreamWorks Animation have forged a multi-year deal which will see the former premiere new original series from the latter.
Thought to be the largest deal for original first-run content in Netflix history, it includes over 300 hours of new programming.
The new shows will be inspired by characters from DreamWorks Animation's hit franchises, upcoming feature films, and the Classic Media library which DreamWorks acquired in 2012.
The first series is expected to go to air in 2014.
