"Harry Potter" actress Emma Watson, producer David Heyman and Warner Bros. Pictures are all teaming up again for "Queen of the Tearling".
Warners has acquired the rights to Erika Johansen's upcoming fantasy trilogy of novels and have attached Watson to star in the film adaptation of the first.
The story is set three centuries after an environmental catastrophe when a malevolent Red Queen holds considerable power. The book is being promoted as a "female 'Game of Thrones'".
A director and writer are currently being sought, while Heyman and Jeff Clifford will produce.
