The BBC's Talking Movies program interviewed Patrick Swayze on the set of "Keeping Mum" with Rowan Atkinson recently, and confirmed he WON'T be returning to play the character of Dalton in the "Roadhouse" sequel.
The character of Dalton is apparently in it (played by the ever hunky Jonathan Schaech) - but it's a small role - and someone else is taking care of it.
He said he is interested in making another "Dirty Dancing" though, and has talked to the studio at different times about reuniting him and Jennifer Grey for a sequel - set in the 1970's (I like that idea).
Swayze was most recently seen in "Icon", Hallmark's mini-series based on the book by Frederick Forsyth ("The Day of the Jackal", "The Fourth Protocol").
