Chevy Chase will return and Gillian Jacobs ("Community") has joined the cast of Steve Pink's "Hot Tub Time Machine" sequel at MGM.

"The Da Vinci Code" author Dan Brown says he wants Oscar-winner Roberto Benigni for the eventual film adaptation of his fourth Robert Langdon novel "Inferno" at Sony Pictures.
Brown's work is inspired by Dante's Inferno, a work that Benigni has great familiarity with and has performed on several occasions. [Source: THR]

Freida Pinto has confirmed that neither she or James Franco are returning for the much-anticipated sequel "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes".
Pinto says: "The sequel's on, but we're not in it. It's a whole new cast. It would have been great to [do the sequel], but I don't know how they would bring our characters back in." [Source: Digital Spy]
