The Finnish filmmakers behind the sci-fi spoof "Iron Sky" are planning a sequel - "Iron Sky The Coming Race".
Like the first film, the producers will use crowd funding (via Indiegogo) to gather a small part of the film's proposed $15 million budget. Most will come from presales and other independent sources.
The first draft of the script is expected by the end of the year and plans are underway to shoot a promo for the movie to be screened at Cannes next year.
The first film's director Timo Vuorensola has already made a spoof hostage video in which he sits in front of a North Korean flag, and flanked by two women armed with machine guns, apologizes for making the original film.
