Actors Jean Smart ("Garden State"), Brady Corbet ("Thunderbirds") and Connie Britton ("Friday Night Lights") will appear as regulars on the next season of "24" reports Variety.
It's believed Kiefer Sutherland (Jack Bauer) will be back, and producers have all but confirmed Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe) will return. A couple of other regulars from last season may be back, but the bulk of the cast will be newcomers. Britton is set to play Sutherland's love interest, Corbet will be her son and Smart will play the wife of President Logan (Gregory Itzen).
Fox is keeping a tight lid on the plot for the upcoming season but like earlier this year, will launch it with a four-hour two-night event in January.
