Dominic Cooper ("Mamma Mia," "The Devil's Double") is in negotiations to co-star in Gary Shore's "Dracula" at Universal Pictures.
Mixing mythology and history, the story follows Vlad the Impaler (played by Luke Evans), the true man who was the inspiration for Bram Stoker's novel. This version will depict him as a flawed and ultimately tragic man.
Sarah Gadon also stars. Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless penned the latest draft of the film, while Michael De Luca is producing. An August 2014 release is currently being targeted.
