Now open in most territories around the world, the third "Iron Man" has yielded intriguing critical reaction. On critic aggregation websites, the film has scored good but not great notices overall - about halfway between the excellent reaction to the first "Iron Man" and the mixed response to the second.
Taking a closer look though, reviews are proving surprisingly divided due to various issues. Comic fans have taken umbrage with the treatment of The Mandarin in the film, some adore while others dislike the more comedic tone that director Shane Black has brought to the action. Almost all state, quite fairly, some big issues with the scripting.
Here on DH, comments relating to the film in recent articles have showcased a real mix of opinion with quite a few calling it the best in the series yet, others preferring the first two. What's your take?
