Casting: Caine, Bateman, Walters, Bratt

Interstellar
Michael Caine is set to star in Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar" at Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures. The story deals with a heroic interstellar voyage to the farthest borders of our scientific understanding

This marks the sixth time Caine has worked with Nolan. Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain also star. [Source: Deadline]

Untitled Disney Animation Feature
Jason Bateman is in talks to lend his voice to Byron Howard's untitled Walt Disney Animation feature project.

The story is described as an "animal comedy" that does not yet have a release date. This would mark Bateman's first voice-over work for a feature. [Source: Heat Vision]

Sacrifice
Melora Walters has joined Michael Cohn’s debut feature thriller "Sacrifice" for JuntoBox Films. The project is currently shooting in Houston.

The story follows four teens from a small Texas town as they come face-to-face with their own consciences after a tragic accident. Walters will portray the mother of two of the teens. [Source: Variety]

Despicable Me 2
Benjamin Bratt is set to replace Al Pacino as the voice of the villain in "Despicable Me 2" at Universal and Illumination Entertainment.

Pacino left the project due to creative differences. It's expected there will not be a problem re-recording the character with Bratt’s voice for the July 2nd release. [Source: Variety]
