BBC America has renewed original sci-fi drama "Orphan Black" for a ten-episode second season to air in 2014.

Tatiana Maslany plays a woman who discovers she is actually a clone. The show has averaged 720,000 viewers in L+7 data through its first three episodes. [Source: Variety]

Scream
Filmmaker Wes Craven was recently asked about reports that he would direct the pilot for MTV's proposed "Scream" TV series.

He responded: "A lot of you have asked about the Scream TV series. It's true I've been approached. My response was, it would depend on the script. If they have a great script/concept, it could be fun. If not, not." [Source: Twitter]

Veep
HBO has renewed Armando Iannucci's comedy series "Veep" for a ten-episode third season to air in 2014. The series kicked off its ten-episode second season this past Sunday. [Source: HBO]
