Mike Nichols is reportedly in talks to direct the adult drama "One Last Thing Before I Go" for J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot and Paramount Pictures.
The story is based on Jonathan Tropper's sixth novel and chronicles Drew Silver, a lovable divorcee who discovers he needs emergency heart surgery.
Opting against the procedure, and tries to use his remaining time on earth to better his relationship with his soon to re-marry ex-wife and his pregnant daughter.
The project would be Nichols' first since 2007's "Charlie Wilson's War" and he has reportedly already discussed the project with Daniel Craig.
