DreamWorks Animation has given the greenlight for a sequel to its caveman hit "The Croods" which has pulled in over $386 million so far at the global box-office.
Writer Kirk De Micco and director Chris Sanders will return in their respective capacities for the follow-up, while negotiations are underway with key voice stars to return as well.
Meanwhile, Sony Pictures has confirmed that a sequel to last year's action comedy "21 Jump Street" is in development with plans for a 2014 release.
Sony confirmed the news today at the studio's CinemaCon presentation, but no specific date is yet set. It was previously reported that Sony plans to begin filming in September.
