Universal took the opportunity at their CinemaCon panel yesterday to confirm that a sequel to last year's "Snow White And The Huntsman" is on way. In fact, 'Huntsman' is already said to be targeting a 2015 release.
Added to that, the studio is actively developing a fifth "Bourne" film, though no word on if it will aim to feature either Jeremy Renner and/or Matt Damon's characters.
Meanwhile, Dwayne Johnson has spoken quite vocally about his enthusiasm for another "G.I. Joe" film following on from the recent sequel 'Retaliation':
"What we would love to do with the sequel to G.I. Joe, which will definitely happen—we set ourselves up nicely with this past G.I. Joe because we really paid attention with respected homage to the mythology.
Now that we've redesigned that foundation of the mythology, there are many places to go. There are phenomenal G.I. Joe characters who we can bring to life, we're all talking about it now, and certainly [thinking about] using the 3D platform in even better ways for the next one, so, I'm very excited about that."
