Comedian Steve Coogan has scored a starring role in ABC's David Shore drama pilot "Doubt" which also stars Rockmond Dunbar, Greg Grunberg and Kacey Rohl.

The story centers on Vincent (Coogan), a former cop who's now a cunning but charming low-rent lawyer who uses his street smarts to work the system for his clients while battling his own demons and wooing his ex-wife. [Source: The Live Feed]

Family Therapy
Jason Bateman will produce and potentially star in Jay Reiss' comedy pitch "Family Therapy".

The story follows a dysfunctional but loving family that hires a therapist to fix their problems on the eve of an impending wedding. [Source: Deadline]

The Fault in Our Stars
Though previously rumored, Shailene Woodley has now been officially offered the leading role in Josh Boone's "The Fault in Our Stars" adaptation.

Based on the John Green novel, the story follows a teenage girl, stricken with cancer, who falls for a boy in her support group and the two form a bond as they deal with their illnesses. [Source: EW]
