Two confirmations today of previously rumored casting news.
She made it to the final three, now Rebecca Hall ("The Prestige," "Iron Man 3") has apparently won the role of the wife of Johnny Depp's character in Wally Pfister's directorial debut "Transcendence" at Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures.
Depp plays a murdered scientist whose wife then uploads his brain into a computer. Soon enough, he is reborn in the machine and finds the ability to communicate through it, allowing him to continue conducting his research.
Shooting on that film begins in April in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Halle Berry has been officially confirmed by director Bryan Singer to be reprising her role as Storm in 20th Century Fox's "X-Men: Days Of Future Past".
Singer tweeted "Couldn't be more excited that #HalleBerry has joined the cast of #XMen#DaysofFuturePast. Hopefully she can improve the weather in Montreal."
