In an unexpected move, Johnny Depp's representatives have come forward to end speculation and confirm the actor's next three projects.
First up is "Transcendence," the directorial debut of "The Dark Knight" cinematographer Wally Pfister, at Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures. Shooting begins in April.
Depp will follow that with Exclusive Media and Cross Creek Pictures' crime thriller "Black Mass".
Depp will star as Boston mob boss Whitey Bulger in the Barry Levinson-directed project which will begin shooting in the Summer.
Depp will likely do press for Disney's "The Lone Ranger" between both projects.
Once he wraps 'Mass', it's expected he will segue into shooting the fifth "Pirates of the Caribbean" either at the end of the year, or early next year ahead of its proposed July 2015 release.
