Release Date Mega-Shift

Release dates got shifted all over the place this past weekend with almost twenty major movies moving around - some by a week, others by several months. Here's a breakdown on the latest changes courtesy of FilmJerk:

"Alien Vs. Predator": Delayed a week, will now open on August 13 "Because Of Winn Dixie": Moves from August 13 to January 14, 2005 "Beyond The Sea": Limited Thanksgiving release, expands at Christmas "Bobby Jones Stroke Of Genius": J. Caviezel golf movie opens April 30 "Breakin' All The Rules": Jamie Foxx com delayed April 30 to May 14 "Cheer Up": Tommy Lee Jones comedy delayed til September 17 "The Cookout": Queen Latifah comedy will open on September 3 "Exorcist: The Beginning": The reshot prequel will open on August 20 "Harold And Kumar Go To White...": Delayed from July 23 to December 10 "Hide And Seek": The DeNiro thriller is s cheduled to open on April 1, 2005

"Man-Thing": Removed from Lions Gate's release schedule 

"Open Water": The shark drama gets a wide release on August 13 

"Paparazzi": The Cole Hauser film will open on September 3 

"The Polar Express": Delayed nine days to November 19
"A Sound Of Thunder": Delayed til September TBA
"Stage Beauty": Currently seeking a new date
"Surviving Christmas": Affleck movie now opening November 12
