"A Single Shot" director David M. Rosenthal and actor Sam Rockwell are set to re-team on a biopic about 1920s boxer Billy Miske.
Miske was diagnosed in his prime with Bright's Disease, a fatal condition in which the kidneys fail. Instead of walking away, he tells no one and keeps boxing even though he's withering away.
The story is based on Clay Moyle's book "Billy Miske: The Saint Paul Thunderbolt". Michael Costigan is on board to produce.
